Posted On: 10/20/2017 Getting a root canal is never fun. But Pinehurst Endodontics made it painless, both literally and figuratively. Every thing was explained in advance. They were attentive before, during and after the procedure. I have not had any issues since If needed (hopefully not) I would differently go back. Marcella S

The staff is professional and explained the procedure before it started. Only 2 injections for numbing vs. 4 at my DDS. I had no pain at all. They took images before, during and after the procedure to check their work. The whole thing took 1 hour vs. 2 hours at general DDS. I still have one more scheduled in a month. I can't say enough about how great this team is from check-in, to the procedure and to check out . Dr. Corcoran is the best. The patient is treated so well, could not ask for better. They care so much about your comfort and any anxiety that the patient might be feeling. There is no pain or discomfort. Posted On: 08/07/2017 I had a root canal completed by Dr. Corcoran last week. When people hear the words 'root canal,” they think of pain and suffering. Dr. Corcoran has performed two root canals for me now and both were extremely pleasant experiences! He and his staff do an excellent job of making sure the patient is comfortable and knows what to expect. I highly recommend Dr. Corcoran and his professional staff! Patricia Willliams B
Posted On: 08/04/2017 I was taken into the office promptly, Karen was the very kind and compassionate lady who assisted Dr. Corcoran with my procedure. Both she and the doctor explained step by step what they were doing and why. There was no pain associated with the procedure. It was done in a minimum amount of time. The doctor had a pre dental school student with him and I enjoyed listening to him explaining the procedure to her, as well as giving her some helpful tips regarding her schooling, ie. taking business classes. If I were a student, I would love to shadow him.
My only complaint was, that there are no earphones with music available when the dreaded drill is used. This is not a new complaint as I hate the sound of the drill.

Posted On: 03/15/2017 I have had 3 root canals in the past 15 months, all done here. The entire staff is excellent. The assistants are all very knowlegable and the doctors are wonderful. Ok, so maybe that's a bit extreme, but Pinehurst Endo is amazing. My general dentist referred me here after seeing and x-ray that indicated a tricky root canal was in order.
I have serious dental anxiety. I have to take anxiety meds just for a filling and even a cleaning makes my palms clammy and I wince at the scraping sounds. I was on the verge of a panic attack prior to the appointment that morning and when I arrived I thought I might start crying in their office. The thought of a root canal was terrifying.
Everyone was fantastic. The front desk staff were warm and friendly and continued to reassure me that everything would be fine (even though I kept hearing 'yeah right' in my head). Stacey was the dental assistant during my procedure and she was so nice. Dr. Corcoran came in and I told him that I had taken my prescribed Xanax that morning and I didn't think it was working because I was still super nervous. He assured me it would be fine. To my surprise I felt NOTHING (I always feel something!). It was over before I knew it. By the end of my visit I was laughing and smiling with the staff.
I have been telling everyone I've seen today, 'if you need a root canal, go there.' Unfortunately, I will have to be back later in the year, but if I have to have another root canal, Pinehurst Endodontics and Dr. Corcoran is who I'm going to see! I have severe dental anxiety, and take anxiety medication when I need to have dental work. Sometimes that doesn't even work completely. I was really quite worried about the possibility of a root canal and the morning of had a near panic attack.
Dr. Corcoran and his team were phenomenal. They did their best to make me feel at ease prior to the root canal and once it got started, it was over before I knew it. If you are the slightest bit concerned about the work you may be having here, don't be! The only downside is they don't do general dentistry. I wish I could come to them for everything! :) Elizabeth H

Posted On: 10/26/2016 What an incredible staff. Dr. Corcoran and DA Whitney Alford were extremely patient oriented and put me at ease very quickly. The entire procedure took less than an hour with very little, if any, real discomfort. I highly recommend both of these fine dental professionals.

This entire office is such a warm, friendly, caring office and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing an endodontist. Dr. Corcoran took me thru the treatment with a lot of friendly encouragement, updating, and top Quality workmanship. Before, during, and after, Tonya was a dental Angel, creating a reassuring connection to take home that I really appreciated. This is top of the mark endodontia I was blessed with today! Posted On: 11/12/2013 I was a little concerned that my planned root canal would put me out of commission for a while...but it was a breeze. I found the staff to be more than helpful and knowledgeable and Dr. Corcoran was wonderful. Posted On: 08/27/2013 The welcoming staff at Pinehurst Endo have been so kind. Going in, I have to say I was pretty worried but the assistants and Dr. Corcoran helped put me at ease. I felt he was very concerned about me and the pain I was feeling. They explained what was going to happen and asked if I had any questions. I was reassured thoughout the process and could let it be known if I was ever in pain. They were gentle and sensitive to my needs and took extra great care of me!
